Me and Kit New Years

Me and Contessa New Years

Well the last three months have been a journey. We started right after New Years with all the kids getting the flu. Two weeks of nothing but sitting on the couch with the older two, and one sitting in the rocking chair with Brycen. Let me tell you, NOT FUN!!! We are blessed though, because the kids even though temps raised to 106 degrees at one point, nothing got too bad. Then in that process we found out my car's transmission died. After $4000.00 worth of repairs hopefully this car will last. Whew, then I came home one day and the dryer went out. If you know us, we are constantly washing clothes. I do at least two loads a day. The kids allergies and asthma means no dust or pet dander. So after being three weeks without a dryer, last night we went and bought a new one. Happy Vday to me.
We also had several doctors appointments for my dad. A neurologist appointment, that sent us all over kingdom come, dermatologist that found another squamous cell of skin cancer, and to an upper GI specialist. I don't know what the outcomes are but pray for us. His Alzheimer's is getting much worse, and its taking a toll on my mom. But... back to the kids.
So this month has brought a lot of interesting stuff that happened. We took the kids to the Motocross. Brayden started soccer again. This is one of my favorite times of the year. I love soccer and watching him play brings back so many memories. I can't wait for Brycen to play. This month also starts dance competition for Brianna. She is competing in a competition at University of Houston with her dance class. Their outfits look like cancan girls, and they are dancing to Chantilly Lace by the Big Bopper. It is so cute.
We also celebrated Valentines Day with the kids classes, and then we got Nonnie some flowers, and Kit got me two dozen red and white roses. He also grilled steaks which is one of my favorite meals. Then we spent the night playing dominoes with our good friends Jim and Gail drinking Beer and Wine.
Here are some pictures of the last two months.
