So for awhile now, after everyone around me has had their kids, I have been debating if we should go with the fourth one. I feel like I have had this calling for either having another one, (which we all know is impossible because I'm fixed) or looking into adoption. Since none of my other pregnancies were planned, I so want to be in charge of this opportunity. I have been praying about this for several months now. I always knew I wanted four kids, but didn't think I would find someone who was willing to take on those four with me. So as I begin this journey into making my ultimate decision, I hope you will pray for us. Kit is all for us having another one, so its really my decision if I want to go ahead and make it official.
Now I would love to be pregnant again, no matter the weight gain or the morning sickness, or my ankles swelling or even with all three previous pregnancies going into premature labor, I loved it. But there is a side of me that wants to be able to provide a home for a child, who needs one. But where do I start, do I want to be able to have an open adoption??? Which by the way I think is awesome, or do I want a closed one? Do I want a foreign or domestic adoption? All these things I have to think about and pray about. And I know a lot of people are thinking what I am going to do with four kids?? I know what its all about is having fun.
So with all that being said, I am currently in the process of looking for my own birthparents. I have paid the fees, done the counseling, and now I am patiently waiting for the call or letter saying they have found them. This my dears has been going on for almost a year now. I am almost positive that I have half siblings out there somewhere and I would love to meet them.
Please pray for Kit and I that we make the best decision for our family, that God will lead us in the right direction, that no matter what the outcome is, its ultimately in God's hands and we have no idea what His plan is. Also that I have a peace if my birthfamily doesn't want to meet me or be apart of my life.
